Members of the local Nashville media got its first glimpse of the 2010 Nashville Outlaws on Thursday when the team took batting practice at its "new digs" (Hawkins Field) for the first time this summer.
The Outlaws are new to the Music City as they are a new baseball team competing in the Prospect League.
The season opener for the Outlaws is Friday, June 4th in Terre Haute, Ind. Nashville will play the Terre Haute Rex on Friday and Saturday before facing Chillicothe and Dubois County on Sunday and Monday, respectively.
The Outlaws will open its home schedule Tuesday, June 8th versus the Springfield Sliders at Vanderbilt University’s Hawkins Field at 7 p.m.
